Thanks to generous supporters, the IAGHS has received the following donations in recent years:

In recent years, we have provided financial support to the following colleagues and their families:
March 2024
€2,000.00 to Tim E., who was seriously injured in a severe truck accident at the end of 2023. His truck overturned, skidded across the road, and a guardrail severed his left arm. In addition, his jaw was shattered and he suffered severe blood loss. After being trapped in the vehicle for several hours, he was flown to a specialised clinic. Despite all the challenges, Tim fought his way back to life. With our donation, we were able to help him purchase a specially adapted vehicle that now gives him greater mobility.
December 2018
€1,000.00 to the family of our colleague Mr Hommes, who died of a heart attack. He left behind his wife and three children, who were already experiencing financial difficulties before his death. With our support, we were at least able to make Christmas a little easier for them and offer some comfort.
November 2018
€2,000.00 to the surviving dependants of our colleague Zimmer, who died after suffering a stroke in his lorry on the A1 motorway between Hamburg and Bremen. This left his wife and son in financial distress.
April 2018
€2,000.00 to the family of our colleague Wiedmann, who died in an accident, to support them after their sudden loss. The request came from our French colleagues.
October 2015
€1,500.00 again to Hans Peter F., whose financial situation had deteriorated further due to a difficult legal dispute over compensation payments.
February 2014
€1,500.00 to the surviving dependants of our colleague Schmied, who was killed in an accident. The donation was made at the request of Swiss Drivers, as the family found themselves in financial difficulties following their tragic loss.
September 2013
€1,500.00 to the family of Henri H., who passed away after a long illness. His wife and two children, one of whom is seriously ill with leukaemia, were in financial distress.

€1,500.00 to Hans Peter F., who was seriously injured in an accident in France and has been unable to work since then.
Thanks to the support of our members, sponsors and donors, we were able to assist these affected colleagues and their families during difficult times. Every contribution helps to give solidarity and hope!

How can I support the association with a donation?
Donations can be transferred directly to our association account or made via our online donation form. Every amount helps!
Will I receive a donation receipt?
Yes, upon request, we will issue a donation receipt for submission to the tax office.
Can my company support the association as a sponsor?
Yes, companies can support us as sponsors. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.
